Canon’s temporary modification for Mail Services for UofL during the COVID-19 pandemic
In the interest of safety and following the OSHA/HHS Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19, the following temporary changes will be made to Mail Services at the University of Louisville:
Departmental Mail Services
Canon will modify pick up of the outgoing departmental mail from daily to three (3) times per week occurring on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
If a department needs additional services or mail pickup on Tuesdays or Thursdays, these services will be available upon request. Departments should email their requests to firstname.lastname@example.org, requests that are received before 12:00 noon EST will be picked up same day.
Canon will modify delivery of the incoming mail from daily to three (3) times per week delivering on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
If a department needs additional services or mail delivery on Tuesdays or Thursdays, these services will be available upon request. Departments should email their requests to email@example.com.
Mail Pick-up available at SAC
Departments can to request mail pick up their departmental mail from our lockers at the SAC location instead of the regular delivery. If requested, Canon will place the mail into a locker and the end user will receive an email with a code to open the locker. These requests should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org along with the name, email address and cell phone number (optional) of the department representative that will be picking up the mail and the date to schedule this service. Please allow 24 hours to add this representative to the locker system prior to the first requested pick-up time. End users can come to the SAC during posted open hours (8:00AM – 5:00PM, Mon – Fri) at their convenience to pick up their mail from the locker once they receive the notification email and/or text message containing the locker access code.
Students can email their requests for incoming or outgoing mail services to email@example.com. Canon will place their mail into a locker and the end user will receive an email and/or text message with an access code to open the locker. End users can come to the SAC during posted open hours (8:00AM – 5:00PM, Mon – Fri) at their convenience to pick up their mail out of the locker within 10 days.
Printing and Copier Support Services
We will continue to provide Printing Services and Copier Support for the University of Louisville community during the University’s COVID-19 Remote Work Period.
